I visited my cousin and aunt in Chicago a few weeks ago, and we went to do one of my favorite things- shopping perfume! There aren’t a lot of testing counters in my small S Indiana town, so an afternoon at Merz Apothecary is heaven. I discovered so many new niche perfumes, but the one I left with was Neroli Pomodoro. My mom’s whole family and my cousin grew up in Elmwood Park, just adjacent to Melrose Park, so I was excited to support this company. But the fragrance is a joy! It puts you in a robust summer mood, and I will always associate it with caprese salads I’m making from garden tomatoes and basil, and white wine sangria that I’m making with tons of fresh fruit. In the winter I know I’ll be able to transport myself to this bountiful time and feeling with Neroli Pomodoro.

Loved the smell. However, it didn't last very long on my skin. Still it's a great scent.
